Strength of American Education

American curriculum and instruction is strong at teaching students how to question and think for themselves, solve problems, and apply ideas.  These skills are likely to be in high demand in a modern knowledge and innovation economy.  Recognizing that not all students learn the same way, the United States also has many types of schools, and many second-chance opportunities for students, with less reliance on an examination funnel.
