Today’s retail environment is rife with challenges.  In addition to the unstable state of the economy, retailers must contend with satisfying a diverse set of consumers, many of whom are equipped with information and technology like never before. These consumers are fickle and expect the same level of service and consistency no matter how or where they shop.  Satisfying dynamic consumers in the age of multiple channels and tough competition requires adaption to new, standardized technologies on the part of the retailer.
